Sanma Company conducts patent knowledge training
In order to better protect the company’s high-tech achievements, maximize the value of intangible assets, and encourage employees to apply for patents, Zhengzhou Abrasives Grinding Research Institute Co., Ltd. (Zhengzhou Sanmo Company) organized a patent knowledge training session on May 17. The event was hosted by the Zhengzhou Intellectual Property Office, with Assistant Director Li Yinsuo leading the session. More than 20 employees from Baige Abrasives Co., Ltd. also attended the training.
Before the lecture began, Mr. Yan Ning, the Deputy General Manager of the company, delivered an opening speech, welcoming the participants and emphasizing the importance of intellectual property protection. During the session, Assistant Li provided practical insights into patent strategies, covering topics such as the significance of patents, the process of patent application, and patent layout planning. He used real-life examples from the company's operations, combined with engaging visuals and clear explanations, making the content both informative and easy to understand.

Following the lecture, Mr. Yan Ning, Mr. Wang Aizhen from the Science and Technology Development Department, and several technical staff met with Assistant Li in Room 1105 for an in-depth discussion. The meeting focused on patent navigation, feedback review methods, and practical techniques for handling patent examination comments. Assistant Li shared his professional perspective as a patent examiner, providing detailed insights into the review process and how to effectively analyze and respond to feedback.
Through real-world case studies, he demonstrated how to conduct efficient patent searches and analyses, which proved to be valuable knowledge for the technical team. The discussion was held in a relaxed and collaborative atmosphere, allowing for meaningful exchanges between the company’s personnel and the expert.
