1. Begin by removing the four screws that secure the pump head. These screws are typically located on the opposite side of the dosing pump.
2. Once the pump head is removed, inspect the internal components for any signs of damage or wear. If everything looks good, install the new pump head and rotate the backplate and cover clockwise until they snap into place. Make sure the drain discharge hole is positioned at the bottom of the pump for proper drainage.
3. Gently pull the hydraulic end outward to access the screw inside the socket. Hold the liquid chamber and turn it counterclockwise. You may feel some resistance, but continue turning until the gap is loosened.
4. After adjusting the position of the hydraulic end with the backplate, tighten the four diagonal bolts gradually. Ensure even pressure is applied to all bolts to maintain stability and prevent misalignment.
5. Before removing the pump head, adjust the stroke length to 0%. This ensures that the electromagnetic mechanism has enough pressure to hold the assembly in place, allowing you to safely remove the gap without causing damage.
