Peak Adopts Brand Authorization to Enter Labor Protection Products for the First Time
On April 21, the renowned sports brand Peake held a press conference at its headquarters in Quanzhou, officially announcing a strategic partnership with Nippon Maruoku Co., Ltd. The collaboration involves establishing a Sino-Japanese joint venture called Quanzhou Peak Labor Protection Products Co., Ltd., through brand authorization. Under this agreement, the new company will be granted the rights to use and produce the Peake brand of labor protection products, focusing on key industries such as mining, energy, and petroleum.
Peake Chairman Xu Jingnan expressed his enthusiasm about the new venture, stating, “The establishment of Quanzhou Peak Labor Protection Products Co., Ltd. marks a significant step in expanding our market presence and is a crucial move toward our global development strategy. Nippon Maruoku has extensive experience in manufacturing high-quality labor protection equipment, making it an ideal partner for us.â€
The joint venture is registered by three entities: Peake Sporting Goods Co., Ltd., Japan Maruko Co., Ltd., and Nanan Peak Safety Protection Products Co., Ltd. The company plans to produce a wide range of protective gear, including safety shoes, workwear, helmets, gloves, masks, goggles, and other essential safety tools. Initially, the company will operate as an export-oriented OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), aiming to introduce Peake's premium labor protection products to both domestic and international markets. In addition, it will also distribute more affordable options under the Maruou and Anbao brands.
