How to reduce pesticide loss in paddy fields

<

With the expansion of paddy field planting area and the increase of water-soluble pesticides, the loss of pesticides in rice fields has become a major problem in the polluted water environment, and must be highly valued. The author believes that there are five measures to prevent pesticide loss in rice fields.

Reconstructing infiltrated rice fields and reducing pesticide percolation The percolation loss of pesticides in water-permeable paddy fields can reach 50%. Although the proportion of each area is not high, it cannot be ignored. The seepage field is not suitable for rice cultivation and should be changed to dry farming.

Implement water-saving irrigation to control drainage time Active drainage is the main way to lose water-soluble pesticides. According to the actual situation of each place, promote water-saving irrigation techniques according to local conditions, such as quota irrigation, wet irrigation, shallow irrigation, and dry water before the water to reduce the water level of paddy fields, water storage time and drainage. After the application of the drug, it is necessary to control the drainage time, and strive to not drain the water within 3 days, so as not to discharge the rice water with a higher pesticide concentration, such as making the paddy field undrained.

Optimize pesticide varieties, use less water-soluble pesticides to control insecticides such as rice leaf roller, stem borer, stem borer, etc., and other water-soluble pesticides such as insecticides and insecticides. In recent years, they have become the main insecticides used in rice fields. Due to years of continuous use and repeated use in a season, the efficacy is reduced and the dosage is increased. From the perspective of protecting the water environment, delaying pest resistance and reducing toxicity, it is necessary to reduce the amount of these two pesticides and the number of uses in a season, and the current pesticide market creates conditions for such substitution.

Monitoring pesticide residues and knowing the degree of pollution In the rice-producing areas where water-soluble pesticides are used in large quantities, pesticide residues are monitored for groundwater and surface water during the application period to determine the actual degree of contamination of water-soluble pesticides.

Avoid application before rain and reduce runoff loss. The loss of pesticides through runoff mainly occurs within 3 days after application. Therefore, you should listen to the weather forecast and try to avoid applying the pesticide before the rainstorm. This is the key to prevent the loss of pesticides through runoff. In addition, the appropriate increase in the height of paddy field can reduce the amount of paddy field overflowing the field; the rational use of detergents such as detergent can increase the amount of pesticides intercepted by rice plants, improve the control effect and reduce the amount of pesticides entering the paddy field, thereby reducing the loss of runoff. .
