EMAG: a combination of cutting and laser processing

<

In the past few years, the significance of laser welding in the field of workpiece joining has become increasingly important. In general, the structure of components connected by laser welding tends to be compact, resulting in light weight and low cost.

This advantage is more pronounced in the automotive industry. Because of its light weight, it often brings the advantage of low fuel consumption. For a long time, EMAG has been following this goal, providing users with all the processing techniques and processes needed to machine round and “non-circular” parts and assemblies. There are many workpieces that are joined by cutting and laser welded into the assembly. Since 2003, EMAG Group and EMAG Laser Technology have worked together to provide users with a complete production solution from cutting to laser welding for the production of ready-to-install assembly parts.

Die ELC 250 DUO

The ELC 250 DUO is a very compact laser processing equipment. The processing stations, lasers, laser cooling units, electrical control cabinets and peripherals are all mounted on a load-bearing rack. The advantages of this compact structure are: high precision, long-term stability, short installation time, and easy positioning of the laser welding device, so it can be quickly adjusted according to changes in production conditions. The ELC Series DUO type equipment is a twin spindle unit. This double-station machine can be loaded and unloaded at the same time as the main machining. The device integrates a beam splitter for laser switching, which optimizes laser utilization and increases the efficiency of the laser device.

The ELC laser device is equipped with a diffusion-cooled CO 2 -layered-laser (DC Diffusion Cooled Baureihe) from ROFIN SINAR. The advantages of the DC series are excellent focusing performance, very compact construction, and very low cost of enterprise, especially energy consumption, laser consumption and maintenance. Due to the excellent focusing performance of the laser (K value > 0.9, which means that it is close to its physical limit K = 1), the geometry of the weld can be completely matched to the requirements of the workpiece. Welds are extremely thin, deep and coarse, and produce little heat. Laser systems cooled by diffusion have low operating costs and low laser consumption. It uses a bottled pre-mixed laser gas to provide a source of air.

The laser welding equipment has a spacious maintenance door inside, so it is very convenient and time-saving to change or maintain. In order to improve production efficiency and reduce dressing time, a new workpiece conveying method has been adopted. The EMAG ELC 250 DUO laser unit has 12 NC axes, which greatly enhances the flexibility of the workpiece conveying channel and greatly reduces the changeover time in small batch production. The "brain" of the ELC device is the SINUMERIK 840D control system. In the control system, a number of practical auxiliary software from EMAG Laser Technology are also integrated.

The advantages of laser welding are:

• High power density • Fast process speed • Low heat production, small part deformation • Reliable process

Increase efficiency with dual spindle design

In the actual production, the laser welding equipment has high requirements for high efficiency, high quality and high operating rate. Otherwise, the laser welding will often have a bottleneck effect in production. Therefore, the welding station is equipped with two spindles: one spindle is welded while the other spindle is to be welded, and the next welding is loaded and the workpiece is clamped. The welding head is switched between two stations, which has the advantage of optimal use of the laser and high efficiency of the equipment.

ELC 250 DUO is the best equipment for machining gearbox shafts

Gearbox manufacturing is one of the growing areas of laser welding applications. Many parts, especially the differential case and drive shaft used in passenger car gearboxes, are often joined and welded to each other after the individual parts have been produced. The gearbox manufactured by this method has a compact structure, stable operation, and high power density. Compared with the bolting method of assembling the differential case and the crown gear, the laser welding method has been favored by more and more people.

Paper dyeing process, the object is to dye the role of paper fibers. Mechanism of different Dyes with different pulp, wood is known as basic dyes great affinity, suitable for dyeing pulp lignin content; pulp surface with a strong negative charge, then the Direct Dyes hardly adsorbed ions , with it to reduce the surface charge, the dye near the fiber surface is fixed. Such non-electrostatic adsorption caused, bauxite is commonly used in papermaking dye retention agent, because the majority of paper dyes are anionic, cationic aluminum compound and anionic dye-forming cation may be precipitated and adsorbed on the fiber surface which is to retain this mechanism occurs at pH 4.0-5.2, then the charge density of the aluminum ions is high, the charge is stronger.
Dyes commonly used in the paper coating colored paper, the dye and the paper fibers by covalent bond, ionic bond between, with the key, and molecular hydrogen binding forces, which depends on the color fastness of adhesion strength, exactly in what based combination, depending on the structure of the dye molecule.
