Farmers should also spray pesticides regularly to control pests and diseases. Many people try to mix medicines and spray them together, which is designed to save labor and improve work efficiency. For example, in the northern wheat spike period, the "one spray three prevention" technology is to mix triazolone (or diniconazole), imipenem (or acetamiprid) and potassium dihydrogen phosphate, one spray. It can not only control wheat rust, powdery mildew and wheat aphids, but also reduce the damage of lodging and dry hot wind, and achieve good results of saving labor and increasing production and income. The reason why the "one spray three defense" technology is worthy of recognition and promotion is that the timing is appropriate. Because the wheat ear stage is just a key period for controlling two diseases and one insect and supplementing the ear fertilizer, increasing the 1000-grain weight, it is necessary to mix medicine and fertilizer. If you change to another period, untargeted blending can become a waste. For the scientific use of pesticides, it is best to ensure the efficacy by arranging the liquid with clear water.
The key to mixing is that chemical reactions cannot occur between fungicides, insecticides, and between drugs and fertilizers, and do not affect the physical properties of drugs and fertilizers, such as solubility, suspension, emulsifying properties, etc., and cannot affect their respective functions. . Of course, the chemical reaction will not increase the toxicity of the drug to humans and animals, plants and the decomposition of the drug fertilizer. From the perspective of maintaining efficacy, we already know that some pesticides cannot be mixed with alkaline pesticides (stone sulphur, Bordeaux), such as flubendiamide, chlorfenapyr, acetamiprid, triazole tin and other insecticides. Bactericides such as manganese Mn, aluminum triethyl sulphate, oxacillin, metalaxyl, triadimefon, diniconazole, iprodione, chunleimycin, polymycin, and ninmycin. By analogy, they cannot be mixed with alkaline or weakly alkaline fertilizers such as ammonium bicarbonate, plant ash, calcium magnesium phosphate, diammonium phosphate, borax and ammonium molybdate.
Some plant growth regulators, such as gibberellin, chlormequat, and ethephon, cannot be mixed with alkaline pesticides or fertilizers, or they will break down. Herbicides are safe in most cases if used in soil treatment. In particular, each of them is mixed with fine tidal soil (or water) and then mixed together before use. However, if it is used for stem and leaf treatment, it should be very cautious. When used alone, the dose may be slightly larger or unevenly sprayed, which may cause phytotoxicity, so generally do not mix with fertilizer. If mixed, the herbicide should be first formulated into a mother liquor. The fertilizer should be first dissolved in water and then mixed with the mother liquor, and it should be sprayed.
Biological pesticides cannot be mixed with chemical fertilizers or bactericidal agents because chemical fertilizers and fungicides can kill beneficial microorganisms and reduce the control effect. In addition, we must pay attention to the special regulations for the mixing of some drugs, such as a fungicide called chlorobromoisocyanuric acid, which can cure both fungi, bacteria and even viral diseases.
