Dyeing and dyeing industry: ice and fire two days

<

In 2011, it can be said that it is a year of rising words. Severe inflation situation, large fluctuations in raw material prices, various cost increases such as labor and energy, and many other unfavorable factors have a great impact on the development of China's dyestuff industry, but some local dyes. Through the transformation of development methods, pigment companies have continuously upgraded the level of technology, management and marketing, and promoted the steady and healthy development of the industry.

According to Tian Liming, secretary general of the China Dyestuff Industry Association, from January to May this year, the national dye production reached 320,000 tons, an increase of 7.4%; sales revenue reached 9.86 billion yuan, an increase of 10.2%. The output of organic pigments reached 57,000 tons, a cumulative increase of 10.4%. The dyeing pigment industry completed a total industrial output value of 10.08 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.2%; sales revenue completed 9.56 billion yuan, an increase of 10.2%; profits and taxes of 1.02 billion yuan, a cumulative year-on-year growth of 8.8%. It can be seen that the operation of the dyeing and pigment industry is generally stable, and all indicators have also increased slightly.

Although the overall operation of the industry is stable, the internal performance of the industry is uneven, which can be described as two days of ice and fire. In particular, key large-scale enterprises are better than the overall operation of small and medium-sized enterprises. After entering May, due to the multiple factors such as the decline in domestic demand growth, inflation pressure, investment reduction and decline in domestic demand, the market operation of dyeing pigment enterprises has dropped significantly. From the data point of view, the production of dyed pigments showed a slow growth in 2011. The output of some large enterprises maintained a positive growth, but the output of small and medium-sized enterprises fell sharply; the export volume of dyed pigments increased negatively year-on-year. As a national dye province Zhejiang, from January to October 2011, Zhejiang Province produced 454,426 tons of various dyes, a year-on-year increase of 2%; sales of dyes totaled 455,297 tons, an increase of 4%; among them, the export of dyes totaled 55,809 tons, a year-on-year increase 2%. Exports accounted for 12% of the total sales, and the production and sales rate of dyes was 100%. It is estimated that the total output of dyes in China will reach 750,000 tons this year.

Significant changes in the international market landscape

Enterprises in developed countries have gradually withdrawn from the basic dye synthesis business; while the dye industry in developing countries such as China and India has been accelerated by the transfer of dye manufacturing technology and the rapid development of the domestic textile industry.

This is a year of significant changes in the international dye market landscape.

Since 2011, there has been a new change in the competitive landscape of the international market. At present, enterprises in developed countries have gradually withdrawn from the basic dye synthesis business, forming a semi-finished dye product mainly imported from China and India to process high-value-added dye commercial products, or directly purchasing dye products from OEMs of both countries and OEM. Sales business model. On the other hand, the old dye companies represented by DyStar have actively re-adjusted their products and technologies, and will focus on shrinking high-end dyes, functional dyes and textile auxiliaries, and adopt environmentally friendly dye new products and new printing and dyeing technologies. Development, supplemented by global locations and advanced consulting technology services as the company's competitive strategy, thus maintaining its dominant position in the high-end, specialty dyes field. The dye industry in developing countries such as China and India has also emerged from large-scale enterprises with large production strength and strong research and development strength and a large number of small and medium-sized dye enterprises due to the transfer of dye manufacturing technology in developed countries and the rapid development of the domestic textile industry. And invested a lot of money to develop new dye products and application technology, which has a big impact on European and American companies, but in the short term, its competitive advantage is still mainly reflected in the field of conventional dyes with low added value.

Supply and demand imbalance

Today, China's dye production accounts for about 60% of the world's total output; but now the supply and demand relationship in the national dye market has undergone great changes, the total market is too large, and the overall situation is that supply exceeds demand and supply and demand are unbalanced.

This is a year of conflict between supply and demand.

After years of development, China's dye production accounts for about 60% of the world's total dye production. At present, there are about 600 kinds of dyes produced in China, covering all major dye categories, which can meet the market demand of more than 90% of the domestic market. The order of dye production in China is followed by disperse dyes, reactive dyes and sulphur dyes. Since 2011, the growth rate of China's dye production and export volume has slowed down. In the first half of the year, due to factors such as rising prices of production factors such as raw materials and labor costs and adjustment of the RMB exchange rate, the growth rate of dyed pigment exports has dropped significantly, and even negative growth has occurred. According to customs statistics, from January to May, the national dyes exported a total of 109,000 tons, down 4% year-on-year, showing a rare negative growth, especially in May, negative growth was significant, down 16% year-on-year. After entering May, due to the multiple factors such as the decline in domestic demand growth, increased inflationary pressures, reduced investment and declining domestic demand, the market operation has dropped significantly. However, the output of dyes is still growing. From the perspective of market supply this year, the supply is sufficient and more than enough to meet the market supply. At present, the supply and demand relationship in the national dye market has undergone great changes, the total market volume is too large, and the overall situation is that supply exceeds demand and supply and demand are unbalanced. In a word, the supply is sufficient, the demand is limited, and the contradiction between supply and demand is very prominent. This feature is very prominent in the Year of the Rabbit and will have a great impact on the healthy development of the domestic dye industry and market.

Reduce “three wastes” emissions

The supervision of enterprises to implement environmental protection regulations is increasing; the introduction of a series of measures has accelerated the elimination of backward production capacity.

This is an outstanding year for the development of two economies.

Since 2011, China's dyes have increased energy conservation and emission reduction, and actively develop recycling and low-carbon economy. After entering 2011, the state has become more and more strict with environmental protection requirements, and the supervision of enterprises implementing environmental protection regulations is also increasing. Correspondingly, the environmental protection requirements for the dye industry are also constantly increasing, and the “three wastes” are discharged during the dye production process. The supervision has increased. The grim situation has promoted the development of the two industries of the dye industry. As mentioned above, Hai'anuoqi Textile & Chemical Co., Ltd. faces a huge low-carbon economy, circular economy and energy-saving emission reduction pressure, and is based on the protection of the ecological environment and resource conservation. In the expansion of the two dye factories in Yantai and Dongying, the company continues to increase. Environmental protection investment to promote cleaner production and maintain the ecological environment. At the same time, some enterprises have increased their initiative to develop two economies. For example, Zheng Hongyu, chairman of Penglai Xinguang Pigment Co., Ltd. believes that the “three wastes” and emissions management, as well as the pressure from international conventions, will cause certain developments in the future development of China's dyestuff industry. Restricted. In order to reduce the “three wastes” emissions, the industry needs to develop and promote clean production processes. The long-term development of the dyeing and dyeing industry must be based on the protection of the ecological environment and resource conservation. To this end, Penglai Xinguang Pigment Co., Ltd. is actively preparing funds for relocation and entering the chemical park. In their construction of new factories, they will focus on developing two economies, producing green pigments, and protecting resources and the environment. In order to dye the future of the pigment industry, the long-term development of the dyeing pigment industry must be based on cleaner production, vigorously protect the ecological environment and carry out resource conservation work. According to the actual development of China's dyeing pigment industry, speed up the elimination of backward production capacity, strictly work progress, announce the elimination of the list of backward production enterprises as soon as possible; stop low-level redundant construction, establish and improve the exit mechanism of heavily polluting enterprises; eliminate serious pollution of the environment and damage the ecological environment, Waste production process of resources and energy. Strictly implement policies, speed up the improvement of the definition standards for eliminating backward production capacity, conscientiously implement laws and regulations on environmental protection, energy consumption, safety, quality, land, etc., strengthen supervision and inspection, and resolutely prevent the transfer of backward production capacity. Further promote the development of green low-carbon, clean and safe dye industry.

High cost confusion

Due to inflation expectations, the prices of fuels and chemical raw materials have risen all the way; the tax exemption policy for some varieties has been abolished, resulting in a net increase of some dyes by about 5%.

This is a challenging year.

As the prices of global basic raw materials continue to run at a high level, domestic environmental protection, energy, manpower, logistics and other costs continue to increase, and production costs are rising. The situation of coal, electricity, oil and transportation has not been alleviated for a long time. In particular, the prices of coal and natural gas have continued to rise, and domestic oil prices have continued to rise, causing the cost to rise sharply. At present, due to inflation expectations, the price of fuel and chemical raw materials has risen all the way, which has become an important factor in the cost of dyes. At the same time, the tax exemption policy for some varieties was abolished, which caused the cost of some dye varieties to rise by about 5%. Since the beginning of this year, the cost pressure of enterprises has been greatly increased, and the sales expenses have increased substantially, which has greatly reduced the profit margin of enterprises. In short, the price of raw materials increased greatly in 2010, such as aniline products, the average price last year was 8,000 yuan / ton, and the average price this year exceeded 11,000 yuan / ton. Other freight and labor costs are also increasing, and rising raw material and energy prices have made the dye industry, which was already marginally profitable, worse. It is understood that several major dye companies in Shanghai and Shandong have such difficulties, and they all suffer the same embarrassment in the process of growth. Affected by the big environment such as inflation, raw materials for production have risen sharply, and costs have been pushed up. Due to the impact of rising prices of raw materials, the cost has risen so much that many companies are at a loss. Increasing costs are difficult for companies to digest and become a pain in the hearts of dyes and pigment companies. Reducing costs through management to achieve profit growth has become the killer of dye companies in 2011 to actively respond to challenges. In 2011, many dye companies improved their management level in a timely manner, strengthened internal control, and had large-scale dye companies. They also took advantage of large-scale procurement to reduce costs.
